Bridger Bowl Ski Area
One of the most inexpensive ski areas around packs quite the punch. Enjoy everything from groomers to easily accessible backcountry couloirs.

  Open from early December to early April.
• Price Range
  Adult lift tickets are just $60.
• Location
  Bridger Bowl is located just northeast of Bozeman.

Red Lodge Resorts

Red Lodge Mountain Resort
Red Lodge continues to be the place to enjoy an un-crowded, relaxed ski experience.

  Last of November to the first part of April
• Price Range
  Tickets are $45-$57 for adult full day.
• Location
  The main roadway between Yellowstone National Park and Red Lodge over Beartooth Pass is closed in the winter. To get between the two in the winter, it is necessary to travel from the north entrance of the Park in Gardiner, roughly 180 miles to Red Lodge.

Cross Country Skiing

Yellowstone National Park is an ideal winter destination for cross country skiing. You can rent skis at the Bear Den in either Mammoth Hot Springs or Old Faithful (accessible by snowcoach or snowmobile tour).
