What is the Junior Ranger Program?

For kids of all ages, the Jr Ranger Program highlights the park features through activities, games, ranger led talks and an activity book. Participants earn a Junior Ranger patch or badge by completing the activities and attending ranger-led programs. Adults, feel free to participate along with your Jr. Ranger! There is a special jr ranger program for kids under 5 as well.

The program is available any time of year.

You simply need to pick up a Junior Ranger Program Information Packet and these are available at any visitor center. Stop by the Junior Ranger Program Office in the Madison District for additional information. Alternatively, you can Download the Program.

How much does it cost?

A $1.00 donation covers the cost of the activity book and patch or badge.
